How do they make this?First the maestro picks up some crystal clear glass from the furnace on the blowpipe. Next he blows a small bubble and rolls the bubble over the slices of cane. To set them in the glass, he returns to the heat of the furnace. Working the bubble, he blows the bubble larger prepares it to transfer to the puntie. His assistant brings him a puntie and he attaches it to the bubble. A quick tap and the bubble is now transferred. After a quick heating up in the furnace its final shape is set by the maestro. The assistant brings a "bit" which is wrapped on the edge for decoration and finishing and quickly. Now it must be removed from the puntie and set into the the annealing oven for about 12 hours and this magnificant glass is ready for drinking and enjoying.
